Minds in Motion Construction
Mimcon is short for Minds in Motion Construction, a name that shows up on the logo itself and, independently, in a customer's own words: Karen Mason opens her review by spelling out exactly what the name stands for. It is a small, owner-run outfit. Kelley has been polishing and coating concrete floors around Houston and Katy since 1998, and the reviews on file keep coming back to him by name.

Where the name comes from
“Minds in Motion is exactly right”
"Mimcon" means Minds in Motion Construction...Minds in Motion is exactly right! Creative and thoughtful applications, the floors are low maintenance...I waited to write this review to make sure :). They are the FIRST thing all who enter comment on with ooooo's and ahhhh's, it feels very Zen and peaceful in the space now. They are the BEST!! Do not hesitate to give them the opportunity to transform your home or commercial site. Kelley and his team are professionals, very reasonably priced, the quality of work shows their experienced, and your time is important to them.
The logo carries the same idea in its own wordmark, and Karen's review is proof it is not just a slogan. It is the way Kelley and his crew actually approach a job: think through what a floor can become before the tooling ever touches it.
A job that started with someone else's mistake
Full days, over 100°F, cleaned down every night
Leo Berendschot brought Mimcon in after another contractor had already worked on his floor and not delivered what was promised. Kelley came out, looked at the slab, and told him plainly what was actually possible, including how to get a polished patio floor that would not turn slippery. That advice is the whole job in miniature: know the material well enough to tell a customer the truth before the work starts.
“We invited Mimcon to have a look at our floor in June 2023 after another contractor worked on it but not delivering the expected results. Kelley came out and gave us solid advice what was possible. We contracted with him to have a polished concrete floor throughout the house and patios. Kelley demonstrated to have good knowledge on what is available on the market as we wanted to have non slippery patio floors. Kelley and his crew were very professional, courteous, and well versed in the work. They cleaned the worksite on the daily basis. They worked full days despite the heat (100F+) and delivered in the timeframe as promised. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend Kelley and his team.”
